I can help you set your vision, build the skills of your team, or win awards (if that's your kind of thing). I'm fond of a suit (I sometimes design them), but I'm equally at home rolling up my sleeves and getting my hands dirty*.

A few nice things people have said about working with me:

Jared and The Wonderfactory helped design Time Inc's first iPad magazines. I've rarely had the pleasure of working with someone who combined such a high degree of both technical and design skills. It's hard for me to imagine that there's anyone out there, doing what he does, that's even in the same league. He's also a really great dude.
Josh Quittner, Editorial Director/Flipboard

Jared is an excellent designer, but he’s actually much more than that. He’s cutting-edge in terms of what is going on in the digital space, and he seems to truly love all things involving online design and interactions. He really understands the intersection of design and technology and how to use that knowledge to create great products. I truly enjoyed working with him on a complete redesign of webmd.com and would love to work with him again in the future. He’s also just a really cool guy.
Tushar Tanna, VP Product/TripAdvisor

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jared for over 3.5 years. Jared is the ideal combination of Creative Director meshed with a technophile. More than merely an early adopter that likes “gadgets,” Jared can strategically explain an entire user’s technology ecosystem and forecast trends and strategies. Jared can brilliantly conceive concepts with various aesthetics from the subtle to the sublime. He is incredibly poised, eloquent, and knowledgeable and maintains the highest degree of integrity. If this weren’t enough, Jared is the most stylish person I’ve ever met. I would highly recommend working with Jared if the opportunity arises.
Joe Salvati, Managing Partner/Usable Media

Jared is a talented and experienced publication designer who has demonstrated a deep understanding of tablet/mobile production technologies and digital publishing concepts for magazines and newspapers. I have found him to be a creative and independent thinker who works well with people at all levels. He also is an excellent conference speaker.
Roger Fidler, Retired (inventor of tablet computing at Knight-Ridder)

Vongo was a large-scale technical and creative undertaking compressed into an intense nine-month development period to meet a 2006 Consumer Electronics Show launch deadline. Jared was the primary creative force on the project at L+M and he worked in close  collaboration with with the agency’s founders, me, my staff and the Project Management Office (PMO) at Starz. Throughout the entire engagement, Jared exhibited real excitement about both the project and the product yet he always balanced the creative possibilities with our corporate needs. He consistently offered creative concepts and solutions that helped us to define the new brand while highlighting the product’s key selling features and benefits. Jared managed the inevitable creative conflicts and process challenges with humor, respect and patience, an approach that was greatly appreciated by the Vongo launch team.
